[The feed starts with Ichigo sitting on his bed back in the stark room he's been staying in while with the Vaizards. Dark circles are under his eyes--which are back to their normal brown. He's just silent or a long while, and when he does finally look up at the camera he seems...haunted.]

...Hey.

I know that there's a lot of people pretty much saying the same thing, but...well, after what happened, I--...

...Well, I'm not really sure what there is to say.

[He looks away again, scrubbing a hand over his face.]

Just...I'm alright. And that wasn't me. None of that...I'm not a hollow. Or an arrancar, and I-...I don't...

Damnitt.

[A frustrated sigh.]

If I did, or said something? I didn't mean it. I don't remember a lot of what happened, but...what I do remember isn't me. You know?

So...Rock, Tidus, and jesus, you too Tommy...I'm sorry.

[Then he falls silent, not looking at the camera as he reaches over to shut off the feed.]

[There's a pause, and Rukia hesitates, her voice wavering a small bit. Seeing her sister again after so many years tends to do that.]

Ichigo... I saw her. I saw Hisana.

He's got me working for him this weekend. Cleaning up the damage, and all.

....I'm sorry, Rukia.

I know. He's told me, and he's making sure to plan a lot of work for it.

[She chuckles a little- Byabo may be planning for Ichigo to work, but that doesn't mean she can't help him. She's not gonna let you mope around, Berry-tan.

At the apology, Rukia becomes a little more serious, but... a part of her is just happy to have seen her sister at all.]

...I wish you could have met her. She... would have wanted to meet you. I know it.

Yeah, I figured he would.

[Little sullen, there, because let's be honest; what sixteen-year-old wants to be worked like a dog?

He's also fairly squirming with guilt, here. If it was the other way around, and his mother had been alive for four days, he would have wanted to spend as much time as possible with her.]

...Maybe Byakuya wouldn't mind me praying to her? Just to let her know she did alright by her little sister.

Nii-sama can be demanding, but- he didn't say anything about helpers, did he?

[She can see it, his guilt. And she can't but want to make you feel better, Berry. You're nakama, family- so it's only natural for her to want to comfort you, as family does.]

She would want that, very much. I don't think Nii-sama would have a problem with it. I'm sure he'd appreciate it, despite him never saying so.

Rukia, if you're thinking I'm just going to let you help me, you're wrong.
It's all I can do just now to make up, even a little bit, of what I did.

I...um...do need to ask you something, next time I see you, I mean.

[There's a pause, but she understands. If she were in his position, she'd say the same thing. She wouldn't want anyone helping to clean up the mess she made.]

[It's said in a "I'll be around to talk and everything, if you want. You're not going to be at the estate all by yourself, though, I'll be there to nag you and be a pain in the ass, like always" manner, to try to cheer him up, even a little at this point. When Ichigo gets stuck in a funk, Rukia knows that that frown's gotta go, because emo Berry is never a good Berry.]
