It was a bit like a chainsaw. If only his teeth moved in a rotating way, it would be the exact same. But Thankfully for Ichigo, they don't. Doesn't mean it doesn't hurt any less, but at least he won't be maimed.
Shiro doesn't really notice those physical changes. Hair, armor, an inch of height and a little more lean muscle. He does notice that the more he takes, the more clearly he can feel pain in his arm until it feels like teeth are actually embedded in his arm instead of Ichigo's. Good, it meant it was working. And he could feel his energy returning, his power surging, and that horrible Hollow feeling receding as his bond with Ichigo was reforged.
But there was one last thing that needed to be shared. And this final burst forces Shiro to let go because of the pain, pain that wouldn't be shared. Memories. The Hollow clutches his head in his hands, groaning and cursing as Ichigo's memories rush in to fill the gaps in his. Aizen's final moments. The monotony, the longing, the lies. The Fullbringers. Chad. Ginjou's deception, Tsukishima's terrible power, the horrible sensation of losing everything. Then that stabbing sensation, magnified, because Shiro HAD actually felt that. Ichigo's first true kill. Rukia.
"Hrrgghhh.... gh..."
Holding his head as it throbbed, the Hollow can't do much except curl up into a ball as the flashes of memories settle themselves into his brain matter.
