[There's a massive pause as you can hear Rukia try to think of how to word herself properly and tell everything in one go.]

I want to thank you. For everything. For all the adventures we've had as nakama, for all the fights we've argued and pulled each other's hair out, for all the times we've laughed and struggled to find ourselves. All of it means so much to me.

[Another pause as she tries to force herself to continue. Goddammit this is hard. :c]

I'm dying. And according to Unohana-taichou, it's the same illness that took Hisana. I won't make it through the night.

[You can hear her struggling to say the next statements.]

I'm sorry. I'm sorry you won't be awake to see me now. I would have liked to talk with you in person one last time, to call you an idiot and a nakama. By tomorrow I'll be gone, but please, don't grieve for me. I know it will be difficult, but you're strong enough to carry on with my memories in your heart. Because that is where I entrust it.

Tell everyone in Karakura that they were so important to me, and that I'm sorry I couldn't get to see them before my death.
