Ichigo pointed north, and threw one last smirk over his shoulder, before blurring away in a step of shunpo.
It wasn't terribly far, but Ichigo had asked a favor of Hachi, and though Ichigo had no idea why the large, quiet Vizard had done it.
There was a little hill to the north. Nothing much, but if one was lucky enough to be there right at sunset, in summer...the entire expanse of Karakura town was laid at one's feet, with all the colors of the sunset painted across a sky that just seemed to go on forever. It was fairly secluded, with only a part of guard rail protecting the road, but beyond that? Long feathery grass swayed in the warm wind so that the hill looked like a lake of rippling gold.
When Ggio had said he'd never heard of 'dusk', Ichigo figured it was as good a thing as any to show the little arrancar. There was more to this than a nice view, though, since the real surprise came out just after the sun set, but the sky was still painted in it's dying fire.
It was here that Ichigo had asked Hachigen to put up a barrier intended to mask reiatsu. Knowing what little of the older man that Ichigo did, he tended to trust in that whatever it was Hachi was doing to help hide both Ichigo, and Ggio would most likely work exceptionally well.
Racing detection, and now racing Ggio as well, Ichigo kept his grin all throughout. Ggio was fast, he'd give him that. During the times that Ichigo paused to make sure he hadn't lost the little arrancar, Ggio was, somehow, always a little bit ahead of him. ...Oddly enough, circumstance lended itself to Ichigo not being annoyed by the superior look in those amber eyes whenever the shinigami had the ( unknown to him ) surprised look on his own face
Suffice to say, it certainly didn't take long to get to the barrier.
fff, sorry for tl;dr
