As far as Ggio was concerned he was one of the fastest arrancar that wasn't an Espada. It was in his build, the way he fought, how his mind raced in the midst of battle to make split-second decisions. He was surprised by Ichigo's 'sonido', but arrogance told him the arrancar could easily keep up.
