[The combination of being in the living world, so weak in spiritual energy, and of being stuck in a body that suppressed any ability to draw in what reishi was available was seriously starting to take its toll on Ggio. Even with how vast Ichigo's power was, feeding off that wouldn't solve this problem in the long run, and with Shiro likely displeased with the arrancar Ggio wasn't getting the sustenance he needed.
He was starving, slowly by surely. But satisfying that hunger meant he needed to consume souls, or something equally as rich, and that would mean countless souls would not be purified. A dilemma he didn't want to bring up to Ichigo, knowing of the conflict in the choice he would have to make.]
